IPL Auction 2023: Joshua Little Bought By Gujarat Titans (GT) For 4.4 Crores

Ireland Cricket Team’s Speedster Joshua Little has been bought by Gujarat Titans (GT) for a price of 4.4 Crores. The speedster has a raw pace and can be seen playing in franchise leagues. The IPL 2023 would be his first stint in the marquee event.

Joshua Little had taken a hat trick in the T20 World Cup against New Zealand. He had taken 11 wickets in 7 matches and had good outings against Australia & England. The peculiarity of the speedster is that he bowls wicket to wicket and has got great pace off deliveries where he has a surprise element in him.

Earlier Gujarat Titans (GT) Head Coach Ashish Nehra had stated that the team wants a pacer. The inclusion of Josh Little will not only strengthen their bowling unit but will make their attack lethal. The pacer so far has had success with the new ball in both franchise & International Cricket.

Gujarat Titans (GT) have a strenuous task on their hands as only one team (CSK) has defended the title in the history of IPL. With BCCI all set to introduce home & away venues for the tourney, there would be fierce competition as we can see even a contest between bat & ball in the 2023 edition.
