IPL Auction 2023: Sikandar Raza Bought By Punjab Kings (PBKS) For 50 Lakhs. Zimbabwe Cricket Team’s all-rounder Sikandar Raza has been sold to Punjab Kings (PBKS) for IPL 2023 at the base price of 50 Lakhs. The all-rounder has been a force to reckon with in the franchise circuit as well as in the International Arena.

Sikandar Raza scored 219 runs in 8 matches in the T20 WC 2022 and took 10 wickets. Raza’s specialty is that he has got a lot of variations that bamboozle the opponent. He was the go-to bowler for the captain in the marquee event.

Punjab Kings (PBKS) would be delighted as the batter can also provide some lusty blows at the back end of the innings. The franchise can also use him as a pinch hitter at the top of the order as we all witnessed how lethal he could be on a given day.

This would be the maiden appearance of Raza in the IPL. It would be interesting to see how he fares in IPL 2023 given BCCI is all set to go back to home & away venues for the tournament. The all-rounder has a surprise element in him and PBKS would be hoping that the all-rounder changes their fortune.
