Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper Shikhar Dhawan achieved a massive feat in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He became just the third batter in the history of the tournament to smash 50 half-centuries and joined the likes of Virat Kohli and David Warner on the list.
Shikhar Dhawan achieved the feat in the ongoing IPL 2023 game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The opening batter played a vital knock for his side in the difficult circumstances and smashed his 3rd fifty this season.

Shikhar Dhawan ended with a knock of 57 runs in 47 balls. He batted with a strike rate of 121.28 and smashed 9 fours and 1 six in his innings. Notably, this was his 50th half-century in the league to go with 2 centuries as well.
