Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper KL Rahul achieved a massive feat in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He broke Chris Gayle’s record and became the fastest batter to reach 4000 runs in the league.
KL Rahul achieved the milestone in the ongoing IPL 2023 game against Punjab Kings (PBKS). He crossed the 4000-run mark in the 105th innings and surpassed Chris Gayle, who scored 4000 runs in 112 innings. The LSG skipper opened the innings for his team and made sure that his side are off the rollicking start.

Rahul played a knock of 74 runs in 56 balls. He also smashed 8 fours and 1 six in his innings and made sure that his side end up putting a good total on the board. He has batted with a strike rate of over 130 and allowed the other batters to bat freely around him.
