Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has backed Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma to come out good in the remainder of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. He said that the right-hander is leading the team well but he needs to raise his game.

Rohit’s poor form has been the main reason behind MI’s lack of runs in the top order. He bagged two ducks in the last two games and overall in 11 games he has scored just 184 runs at a poor average of 18.40 and a strike rate of 126.90.

Suresh Raina feels that Rohit Sharma needs to raise his game. He said that the batter will be back to form soon and is just one of two games away from regaining it. Speaking to the Times of India, he said:

“Rohit needs to raise his game now. He needs to start believing in himself. He will come back to form very soon. Class is permanent. He just needs a game or two to come back to form.”
