MI vs RR: WATCH - Sandeep Sharma Takes A Blinder To Dismiss Suryakumar Yadav At The Wankhede Stadium

Mumbai Indians (MI) are currently locking horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 42nd game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The visitors won the toss and decided to bat first.

On account of a staggering century by Yashasvi Jaiswal (124), RR posted a mammoth total of 212 runs on the board. In reply, Mumbai Indians lost skipper Rohit Sharma (3) and Ishan Kishan (28) lost early. But Cameron Green (44) kept his side in the hunt before Suryakumar Yadav led the charge.

But Sandeep Sharma’s brilliance in the field saw him back in the hut for just 55 runs in 29 balls. It was during the 16th over the second innings when Trent Boult bowled a slower delivery outside off to which Suryakumar Yadav tried to ramp over the short fine leg.

Suryakumar Yadav didn’t middle but it was expected that it would fall in no man’s land. But Sandeep Sharma exhibited brilliant fielding skills. He sprinted back and put in the full stretch dive. He gobbled the ball in his left hand and fell on the ground but held onto the catch.
