The dynamic pace duo of Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins is gearing up for the match between the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins recently shared their activities during last year’s IPL 2024 mini-auction.
Kolkata Knight Riders will face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the third match of IPL 2024 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday, March 23. All eyes will be on Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins, who are among the costliest buys in the history of the marquee tournament.
The Australian skipper picked up 45 IPL wickets across 42 matches at an average of 30.16 and an economy rate of 8.54. He has claimed 55 wickets in 50 T20Is at an economy rate of 7.37. Notably, Cummins has been absent from T20 matches since the 2022 T20 World Cup.
The left-arm fast bowler’s most recent IPL stint dates back to 2015 when he played for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). He has taken 34 wickets in 27 matches at an average of 20.38 and an economy rate of 7.17, with his best bowling performance figures of 4/15.
