He also further increased his stretch in the list of most runs scored by a wicket-keeper batsman while playing in the richest T20 league of the world. MSD is now the first WK to have scored 5000 runs in the league.

Last but not least, MS Dhoni with his 3 maximums last night, became the first batsman in IPL history to have smacked 100 in the final two overs of the match – 19th and 20th. So, all of this tells us that he had a fantastic return to the cricketing field and that knock certainly provided him a lot of confidence, as CSK proceeded in the competition.

Meanwhile, following their 21-run loss to DC at Vishakhapatnam, CSK will travel a few miles from the location to face the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next league match.
