Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) takes on Rajasthan Royals in match 19 of IPL 2024 on Saturday, April 6. RCB are on a two-match losing streak heading into this game and this is their fourth game of the season.
They started their season with a loss to CSK. They won their next game against Punjab Kings and lost their next two on the trot against KKR and LSG. Against KKR, they could not defend 182 while against LSG they could not chase down 182.
RCB as a team is totally lost after consecutive defeats. The two big losses have hurt their NRR as well. They are placed eighth heading into this contest. Another loss will already be their fourth inside the first five games.
RCB have a favourable record against RR winning 15 out of the 30 games against the franchise. They have a 50 percent win record and even won four out of their last five games including both in the last season.
However, this season so far, their weaknesses and loopholes have been exposed by the opposition. They have taken advantage of the fact that they do not have a high-class spinner in their ranks. Heading into this game, they are still dependent on their top three to score runs.
