Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru hosts the RCB vs SRH IPL 2024 match on April 15, Monday from 7.30 pm IST. After a string of losses, RCB needs a few wins together to stay alive in the tournament. This is the first match between the two teams this season.
RCB are heading into this match after their fourth loss on the trot this season. They lost to MI in their previous game. Having posted 196 with the bat, the RCB bowlers leaked runs from both ends as Mumbai Indians chased down the target in 15.3 overs. The win boosted their NRR as well.
RCB used six bowlers each of whom had an economy rate of of over 180. The side has just not been able to identify and settle into the right bowling combination, Skipper Faf du Plessis has failed to identify the weaklings in the bowling attack and the changes so far have not paid off.
SRH, on the other hand, is heading into this match on the back of a narrow victory against Punjab Kings. They scored 182 and managed to limit PBKS to 180 in the run-chase. As a side, they have played with an attacking template and managed to win three of the five games so far.
