Virat Kohli not happy even after RCB's win over Punjab Kings reveals AB de Villiers

Former RCB legend AB de Villiers feels that Virat Kohli would be disappointed for not being able to finish the game against Punjab Kings (PBKS). AB de Villiers also heaped praises on Virat Kohli for his spectacular knock against Punjab Kings in match 6 of IPL 2024.
Virat Kohli drove Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to victory with his 77-run knock against the Shikhar Dhawan-led side. Batting as an opener, the right-handed batter shattered 2 sixes and 11 fours during his innings. He held the crease till the 16th over when he lost his wicket to seamer Harshal Patel.

AB de Villiers hails Virat Kohli after match-winning knock against PBKS
After the match, IPL 2024 commentator AB de Villiers spoke about Virat Kohli’s innings on Jio Cinema. The South African stalwart feels that Kohli would be disappointed for not finishing the match against Punjab Kings.
“I saw some signs on the field while they were there in the first half. Just real dedication, commitment, and motivation I could see in his eyes. This guy means business tonight and no one is going to stand in his way,” De Villiers said.
“Unfortunately, he didn’t finish it at the back end as he would have wanted to. Knowing him, he’ll be analyzing tonight in his room. Like, ‘why didn’t I finish that game?’ Very hard on himself? Sometimes”, he further added.

AB de Villiers also added that Kohli is an amazing player and played fantastically against Punjab Kings.
“He is just an amazing player. He’s played fantastically well tonight. He kept it together, kept himself in the game, and played the right shots. He really did. And it wasn’t just big shots,” the former right-handed batter concluded.
After Kohli lost his wicket in the 16th over, Dinesh Karthik followed up his knock. With his 28 runs off 10 balls, Karthik captured the winning runs for the team. Mahipal Lomror also gave magnificent support, adding 17 not-out off 8 balls.

Kohli equals MS Dhoni’s record for most POTM awards
Virat Kohli also equaled the record for 17 player-of-the-match awards with MS Dhoni. Earlier in the match against CSK, he lost his wicket cheaply for 21 runs. However, he made a strong comeback against Punjab Kings.
RCB will wrestle with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their next match of IPL 2024. The RCB vs KKR, match 10 of IPL 2024, takes place on Friday, March 29 at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB accounts for 1 win and 1 defeat after two games. Kolkata Knight Riders, led by Shreyas Iyer, won their opening match against Sunrises Hyderabad (SRH) by 4 runs.
