Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) spinner Ravi Bishnoi changed the entire complexion of the against Gujarat Titans in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 game. The 21st Match of the tournament between the teams is taking place at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

After posting a total of 163 runs, Lucknow Super Giants seemed completely down, especially with Shubman Gill (19) and Sai Sudharsan (33) taking Gujarat Titans off the valiant start. The duo added 54 runs for the opening partnership but with the way the home team pulled back things have been incredibly well.

Ravi Bishnoi played a part in that too as he made sure that he added his names to the wickets tally. However, more than that he stole the limelight with his sensational catch off his own bowling to remove Kane Williamson at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

During the 2nd ball of the 8th over, Ravi Bishnoi bowled an in-drifter that was fullish in length. Kane Williamson came forward to play the on-drive but he didn't get to the pitch of the delivery and ended up chipping it in the air. It seemed that the ball would land safely and the batter would survive.

But Ravi Bishnoi flew to his right in his followthrough and stuck his right hand out to snaffle it out of thin air. It was a sensational one-handed stunner that lifted the entire crowd up at the Ekana Stadium and provided Lucknow Super Giants with a crucial breakthrough in the game.

Here's the video:

Kane Williamson, who came as an impact player, couldn't make much impact with the bat as he managed just 1 run off 5 balls. However, after his wicket, Lucknow Super Giants ran through the middle order of the Gujarat Titans and picked quick wickets.

Krunal Pandya was the wrecker-in-chief behind that as he oozed his class with a ball. The spinner removed Sai Sudharsan, Sharath BR and Darshan Nalkande to return with figures of 3/11. He changed the game in the favour of his team, which saw Lucknow Super reducing Gujarat Titans to 80/5.

Lucknow Super Giants post a total of 163 runs on board

Earlier, Lucknow Super Giants won the toss and opted to bat first. They didn't have a great start with the bat as they lost Quinton de Kock (6) and Devdutt Padikkal (7) early. But after that skipper KL Rahul (33) and Marcus Stoinis (58) batted well and brought their team back into the game.

The duo added 73 runs that bailed Lucknow Super Giants out of trouble. Nicholas Pooran (32*) in the end made sure that he continued his golden touch and finished the innings on high. Ayush Badoni (20) chipped in with valuable contribution as they ended with 163 runs on board.

For Gujarat Titans, Umesh Yadav was the pick of the bowlers with his figures of 2/22. Darshan Nalkande also bagged two wickets whereas Rashid Khan chipped in with one wicket as they ensured Lucknow Super Giants end with a total of below 170 runs.
