Major League Cricket (MLC) Head to Head Records
The Major League Cricket (MLC) is one of the fastest-growing T20 league in the world. The competition is United States' premier T20 tournament and is sanctioned by the United States Cricket. The tournament is organized by the American Cricket Enterprises (ACE).
The tournament was founded in 2023 with six city-based teams participating in the inaugural season. Out of the six teams, four teams are either owned or co-owned by IPL franchises. The six teams are - Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas, Texas Super Kings, and Washington Freedom.
The format of the tournament is a league stage followed by the playoffs and the final. In the league stage, each team plays 10 games before the top four teams progress to the playoffs. The playoffs include a Qualifier, an Eliminator and a Challenger match. The winner of the Qualifier and the Challenger fight it out in the final.
MI New York won the inaugural MLC season with a win over Seattle Orcas before Washington Freedom beat San Francisco Unicorns in the final of the second season.
