Major League Cricket (MLC) 2025 Cricket Teams

The Major League Cricket (MLC) is the premier T20 competition of the a United States. The tournament is sanctioned by USA Cricket and is a United States-based T20 competition. It is organized by the American Cricket Enterprises (ACE) and is sanctioned by USA Cricket.

The first season of the tournament was played in 2023. The format of the tournament is a round robin stage followed by the playoffs and the final.

MLC Teams:

Six different city-based teams have been participating in the competition since the inaugural season in 2023.  According to reports, the MLC is keen on increasing the number of teams in the coming years after the early success.

The six teams represent six cities in the United States. The six teams are - Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas, Texas Super Kings, and Washington D.C.

Out of the six teams, three teams are owned directly by the IPL franchises while Delhi Capitals also co-own one of the teams.

Out of the six teams, MI New York and Washington Freedom are the only team to win the tournament so far.

MI New York won the inaugural season before Washington Freedom clinched the title in the second season. Los Angeles Knight Riders are the only team that failed to progress ahead of the league stage in the first two seasons.
