Mayank Agarwal is an Indian cricketer who has played for Team India in international cricket. He has also represented India at the Under-19 level. A right-handed top-order batsman, Agarwal plies his trade for Karnataka in domestic cricket and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League.

Mayank Agarwal's wife's name is Aashita Sood. She was born to Praveen Sood and Vinita Sood. While Aashita's father, Praveen is a police officer and is currently serving as Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation.

In the past, he served as the Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) in Bengaluru City, Commissioner of Police, in Mysuru City & Bengaluru City, ADGP, Principal Secretary (Home), DGP (Internal Security), and DGP (CID). On the other hand, Aashita's mother, Vinita is an entrepreneur.

Aashita is a professional lawyer as well as a lifestyle influencer. She got her Bachelor of Arts in Law and Bachelor of Laws from the School of Law at Christ University in Bengaluru from 2010 to 2015.

After her graduation, she pursued a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary University of London from 2016 to 2017. She can also communicate fluently in as many as four languages - English, French, Hindi, and Kannada.

Mayank Agarwal and Aashita Sood first met at a Diwali party that was organized by their parents. According to reports, they fell in love with each other at first sight. However, Agarwal could not muster the courage to express his feelings to his future wife.

They eventually started talking and dated each other for more than five years before the cricketer proposed to Aashita. Agarwal traveled to London and popped the question to his future wife at the iconic London Eye in January 2018.

They went on to tie the knot in the same year. Aashita and Mayan Agarwal's wedding date is 4 June 2018.  Four years later, the couple welcomed its first child, son Aayansh.
