Aakash Chopra believes Team India has a lot to think about going into the second T20I against New Zealand since they aren’t starting or finishing properly.
Friday’s opening match of the three-match series in Ranchi ended with a 21-run loss for the Men in Blue (January 27). To maintain the series going into the decisive game in Ahmedabad, they will want to win the second T20I in Lucknow tonight.

In a video posted to his YouTube page, Aakash Chopra emphasized India’s worries in relation to the game on Sunday, saying:
“Since you are neither starting well nor finishing well, I think the Indian team has a lot to consider. With the bat, you can’t get off to a good start, and with the ball, you can’t get off to a good finish.”

Aakash Chopra noted that it is a persistent problem and went on to say that the squad can appear different the following time they play the shortest format, explaining: “This is a reoccurring issue, despite the fact that the T20 World Cup is still a few months away and we only play one-dayers after that. We don’t know how long the young players will stay together because the IPL will come in between, and then you focus a little more on the ones who perform there.”
Aakash Chopra wants to let Shivam Mavi bowl with the new ball:
Aakash Chopra, a former Indian opener, favors Shivam Mavi over Hardik Pandya when it comes to using the new ball, stating:
“I believe you should give Mavi the new ball. Hardik bowls nicely with the new ball, however, if Mavi doesn’t bowl with the new ball, you won’t be able to use him efficiently. After that, Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav can be used wherever with the ball”
In the first T20I, Hardik started the bowling and allowed 12 runs in the first over. Washington Sundar was added to the assault in the third over, and Mavi wasn’t given the ball until the 14th due to the surface helping the spinners.
