Rohit Sharma & Shubman Gill took the team to a flyer as India managed to score 82 runs in the power-play overs. Both the batters were toying with the bowlers as there was nothing significant in the pitch for the bowlers. The Black Caps looked clueless as both the batters were ruthless in their approach.

Rohit Sharma would be delighted with his performance as he struck his century in 83 balls where he smashed 9 fours & 6 sixes. Given how the pitch is turning out to be, the Men in Blue should aim at a score in excess of 350 as later at the match, the dew may come into account.
