Indian Cricket Team had won the toss & elected to bat first. The Men in Blue had a shaky start as they lost their 2-star batters Rohit Sharma & Virat Kohli as the duo was dismissed within 16 overs of the match. New Zealand bowlers bowled impeccable line & length.
Shubman Gill, the dashing right-handed batter struck his consecutive century and looked like a man on a mission. The batter was in sublime touch where he used to rotate the strike on a consistent basis. It won’t be wrong to say that Shubman Gill has sealed the spot in the 2023 World Cup.

At the end of 39 overs, India’s score was 246-4 where.
