Rohit Sharma Now Only Behind Chris Gayle And Shahid Afridi
Rohit has established a reputation as one of the game’s most vicious hitters. On the strength of his superb pull shot, he often viciously dispatches anything under a length for a six. He was able to become the standard for six-hitting and a bowler’s nightmare thanks to his early ability to discern the length, natural timing, and power.
The player with the most sixes in the 50-over format is Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi, who has 351. With 331 sixes in his career, legendary West Indies opener Chris Gayle is not far behind.

During the opening ODI match against New Zealand in Hyderabad, the Indian captain just surpassed Dhoni’s record for the most sixes struck in India. Additionally, he is on the verge of breaking the coveted mark for most sixes in international cricket. Gayle, who presently holds the top slot with 533 hits, is in front of him.
The Indian cricket team’s captain Rohit Sharma has delivered an outstanding performance in the one-day international match. He has slammed his 30th century in the format off just 83 balls, his first since January 2020.
This follows a strong half-century in the previous match. Sharma’s return to form is a significant boost for the Indian team. This is truly domination at its best from the India skipper. He is back among runs and looking fierce as ever.
