A video from the recently finished India-New Zealand match has gone viral, in which supporters can be seen yelling “Sara Sara” towards Indian player Shubman Gill. The Indian batter’s reaction when fielding near the boundary ropes captivated the audience.

Gill was one of India’s standout players against Sri Lanka, and he followed that up with a magnificent double-century against New Zealand.

The relationship between Gill and Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, was widely rumored a few years ago, albeit there was no official confirmation of it. Recently, Gill has also been linked to well-known Bollywood actress Sara Ali, which sparked the stadium crowd’s chanting.

Gill has had an incredible start to his international career, becoming the fastest Indian and second-fastest player in ODI history to score 1,000 runs. By attaining the milestone in his 19th ODI, he eclipsed Virat Kohli’s and Shikhar Dhawan’s records by five innings.
