The cricketer-turned-commentator also expects that Kohli can make a good comeback in the IND vs NZ 3rd ODI.
“I expect Kohli to make a good comeback in the third ODI keeping the big picture in mind. Australia are touring soon and they have a solid bowling unit with Nathan Lyon also there. So, the expectation is always there from him to score runs and do well,” Jaffer further said.
Virat Kohli showed superb form in the previous IND vs SL ODI series. He smacked 2 centuries across three games to win the man of the series award. However, in the ongoing IND vs NZ ODI series, Kohli has only scored 19 runs in 2 games. IND vs NZ 3rd ODI takes place on January 24 (Tuesday).
