Indian Cricket Team had won the toss & elected to bowl first at Raipur in the 2nd ODI. This is the first time an International Match is being played at Raipur. India & New Zealand didn’t make any changes to their playing 11 after a thrilling 1st ODI.
Indian pacers were spot-on with their line & length as they didn’t give room to the batters. Mohammed Shami got two crucial wickets for Finn Allen & Daryl Mitchell where he got ample help from the pitch. At the end of 9 overs, the Kiwi batters managed to score only a boundary and their score was 15-3.

Crucial Period for New Zealand
New Zealand would be hoping that they don’t get bundled out. The batters must focus on building a partnership as there’s a lot of time remaining in the match where a score around 200-220 could also be effective on this pitch were there’s a bit of movement for the pacers
India would be delighted with this start as they not only have taken wickets but dried the runs. Skipper Rohit Sharma may bring Mohammed Siraj back into the attack as a couple of more wickets would seal the match for Men in Blue. It would be interesting to see how the spinners fare on this track especially Kuldeep Yadav who is in the form of his life with his foxy variations.
