In domestic cricket, he has represented Western Australia and Victoria while in the Indian Premier League, he has represented Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants. Marcus Stoinis' IPL career began in the year 2015. Marcus Stoinis' first IPL team is the Delhi Capitals. Stoinis, however, could not play any game in his debut IPL season and was also released by Delhi Capitals. In a 2016 auction, he was bought by Punjab Kings. In his first season with Punjab Kings, Stoinis played 7 games and scored 146 runs in addition to taking 8 wickets. Ahead of the IPL 2018 mega auction, Stoinis was released by Punjab Kings but was once again bought by them through the Right to Match card.
