Andy Flower, the head coach of the Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), has rejoined the team after the conclusion of the two-day Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega auction, which took place in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13.

The former cricketer Andy Flower, who was part of the Punjab Kings (PBKS) coaching staff in the IPL 2020 and 2021, is the head coach of the new Lucknow Super Giants team for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Notably, Lucknow Super Giants bought 18 players during the Indian Premier League 2022 mega auction including big names like Quinton de Kock, Mark Wood, Avesh Khan, Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, and Jason Holder.

Andy Flower Joined Multan Sultans After Completing Mandatory Isolation Period

The head coach of the Multan Sultans, Andy Flower, underwent a mandatory three-day isolation period before joining the team’s camp in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022.

The Mohammad Rizwan-led side played three matches in the league in the absence of their head coach. However, they were virtually connected with Andy Flower, when the former Zimbabwe cricketer was in India for the IPL 2022 mega auction.

The defending champions Multan Sultans have done an excellent job in the ongoing season of the Pakistan Super League, having won 7 games. They currently have 14 points and are guaranteed a finish in the top two regardless of the results of their last two encounters against Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United.
