Lahore Qalandars fast bowler Haris Rauf suffered an injury scare during a recent match against the Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024. Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi provided an update on Haris Rauf after the completion of the match.

Haris Rauf made a remarkable catch to dismiss Hasan Ali in the tenth game of the ongoing Pakistan Super League season. However, the celebration was short-lived as the pacer injured himself. Following the catch, Rauf was forced to exit the field due to the injury.

The 30-year-old bowler was visibly in pain and left the field with an elastic bandage around his right shoulder. This incident not only casts a shadow over Lahore Qalandars’ campaign in the PLSK but also raises concerns with the T20 World Cup 2024 approaching.

Haris Rauf’s injury status remains unclear, but fans are haunted by memories of Naseem Shah’s injury before the 2023 World Cup. Nassem missed the entire ODI tournament in India. Naseem’s absence significantly impacted Pakistan’s campaign in the ICC event.
