In the third T20I, Wasim Jaffer believes Hardik Pandya must bat at number 4 because the all-rounder looked impressive for Gujarat Titans at that position in the just-concluded concluded IPL, which they win.

Jaffer believes that the best duration for Rishabh Pant to bat is when there are seven right overs left so that he can come and play his shot freely.

Pant, India’s skipper in the five-match T20I series against South Africa, played at number four in the first two games, which India lost, but Jaffer believes Pant will be at his finest if he bats at position five or six.

“Pant is known for his one-way style of play. He appears and assaults. When he changes the strike rate and wants to play the scenario, he wasn’t at his best. We have already seen him do well and win a game for India every time he is played aggressive cricket. He can come out, and he can be a little clumsy at times, “On ESPNCricinfo, Wasim Jaffer stated ahead of India’s third Twenty20 International against South Africa.

In the third T20I, Wasim Jaffer believes Hardik Pandya should bat at number four because the all-rounder performed admirably for Gujarat Titans at that position in the just-completed completed IPL, which they dominated.

“I believe that the number five or six, as I have stated, is his optimal position (Pant). I would like Hardik Pandya to bat at number four as he did so well for Gujarat Titans in the IPL, and Pant to step in when there are about 7-8 overs left. Come out and attack right away. That is, without a doubt, the best vantage point, “Jaffer added.

After losing two consecutive games, India will play South Africa in the series’ third match on June 14 at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
