South Africa tour Of India 2022

The South Africa National Cricket Team visited India in 2022 for a limited-overs series. The South Africa tour of India 2022 consisted of three T20Is and three ODIs. The SA Tour India 2022 began with the three-match T20I series.

While Rohit Sharma led India in the T20Is, Shikhar Dhawan was the captain for the ODI series. Most of the key players were rested for the ODI series to give them some rest ahead of the T20 World Cup. For South Africa, Temba Bavuma led the team in both the series of the South Africa tour to India in 2022.

India won the first T20I by 8 wickets before winning the second one by 16 runs to clinch the series with a match remaining. South Africa managed to avoid a whitewash by winning the third and final T20I by 49 runs. The Proteas won the ODI series on a winning note as they won the first game by 9 runs. India, however, bounced back in style to win the next two games and won the series.
