South African Cricket Team suffered a massive loss in the 3rd ODI match. The hosts had won the toss and opted to field first. South Africa had a dreadful start as the team got bundled out in 27.1 overs and managed to score a paltry 99 runs. South Africa wasn’t able to play according to the situation of the match.

Kuldeep Yadav was the wrecker in chief as the spinner took 4 wickets. He was playing mind games with South African batters and made a statement that he is still one of the best. The bowler was quite consistent with his line & length and was hardly giving any freebies to the batters.

South Africa would be utterly disappointed as the batters showed no intent at all. It looked as if the batters were exhausted. The absence of Temba Bavuma hurt them a lot as he could have batted long. The form of Quinton de Kock is a worry as the left-handed batter hasn’t contributed significantly in this ODI Series.

India’s run chase was quite easy. India lost 3 wickets but they were in complete control. Shikhar Dhawan once again failed and now the selectors would be bothered whether the batter is in good nick or not. Shubman Gill got out on 49 runs and now slowly he is making a case for himself for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

It Was Very Tough- David Miller

During the post-match presentation, David Miller was asked about the team’s batting performance.  “It was very tough. Didn’t help scoring just 99. The disappointing result today, was to finish off the series in that way. There was a bit of spin, and it was two-paced, it was tacky as it was under covers due to the rain.”
