The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has announced a 50 percent refund for the ticket-holders to the fifth T20I between India and South Africa in Bengaluru, which was washed out on Sunday night.

The series decider was set to be a thrilling encounter at the packed M. Chinnaswamy Stadium but rain played a major spoilsport. After a delay in the toss, the match got underway fifty minutes late with a reduction of one over.

However, following just 3.3 overs of play, the downpour returned and continued throughout, prompting the umpires to abandon the game in its entirety and end the series on a 2-2 draw.
