The 41-year-old former South Africa National Cricket Team player Alviro Petersen has criticised the Proteas captain Temba Bavuma after South Africa’s first-ever T20I series defeat against India National Cricket Team on Indian soil.
The 32-year-old Temba Bavuma had an awful run with the bat in the recently concluded three-match T20I series against India, where the Men In Blue won by 2-1. Bavuma failed to get off the mark in the first two games of the series and in the third T20I in Indore, he scored only 3 runs off 8 balls, before being dismissed by Umesh Yadav.

After the conclusion of the third T20I match, former South African cricketer Alviro Petersen took to Twitter to criticise the Proteas and he listed four points in his tweet.
“1) Should the Proteas select their best XI and then make one of them captain? 2) Should the selectors (coach included) show leadership and make a decision? 3) Should Bavuma show leadership and insist on dropping himself? 4) None of the above? Thoughts?,” tweeted Petersen.
