Virat Kohli came up with a heart-warming gesture for a disabled cricket fan after India vs Sri Lanka 1st Test in Mohali. Virat Kohli gifted his jersey to a disabled fan who came to meet him after the match. The video of the moment was shared on social media and liked by many.

India defeated Sri Lanka by an innings and 222 runs in the 1st Test at Mohali. It was a special match for Virat Kohli, as it was his 100th Test match. Kohli scored 45 runs in the only innings he batted in the match. He was also felicitated by a 100th Test cap by coach Rahul Dravid ahead of the match.

A video is doing the rounds on social media in which Virat Kohli is seen gifting his jersey to a disabled fan in Mohali after India vs Sri Lanka 1st Test. In the video, a disabled fan can be seen waiting for Kohli near the team bus. Later, Kohli arrives with his jersey and gifts it to the fan. Have a look at the video below.

Kohli became the 12th Indian player to play 100 Tests for India. He was also given a guard of honour by teammates during the match. The match ended on a positive note for the team as they defeated Sri Lanka by an innings and 222 runs.

Batting first, India posted 574-8 (d) on the scoreboard. Opener Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal got out for 29 and 33 respectively. Later, Hanuma Virari slammed 58 runs while Virat Kohli scored 45. Rishabh Pant played a fabulous knock of 96 runs.

Ravindra Jadeja slammed a marvellous unbeaten 175 run-knock to take India to a giant total. Ravichandran Ashwin also contributed important 61 runs. Later, Sri Lanka was bowled out for just 174 runs in the 1st innings. Ravindra Jadeja again gained the limelight with 5 wickets in the 1st innings. Pathum Nissanka scored the most 61 runs for the team in the 1st innings.

Facing a follow-on, Sri Lanka had a lead of 400 runs ahead of the 2nd innings. In the 2nd innings, they got out for 178. Niroshan Dickwella hit most 51 runs for the team while Angelo Mathews scored 28 runs. In the second innings too, Ravindra Jadeja came out with an exceptional 4-wicket haul. Ravichandran Ashwin also hunted 4 wickets.

Sri Lanka ultimately lost the match by an innings and 222 runs. India now leads the two-match Test series 1-0. India vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test begins on March 12. The venue of the clash is M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
