After the win in the third and final T20I over Sri Lanka, Indian captain Rohit Sharma went to collect the trophy. Soon after, he handed it over to Jaydev Shah, the BCCI representative for the 3-match series.
Jaydev is a former Saurashtra captain and son of former BCCI secretary and cricketer Niranjan Shah. He has played 120 first-class matches and scored 5354 runs at an average of 29.91. It includes as many as ten hundreds and twenty fifties.
Jaydev is currently SCA’s (Saurashtra cricket association’s) president. “I thank the BCCI president (Sourav Ganguly) and secretary (Jay Shah) for providing me with this opportunity,” Jaydev had told TOI ahead of the series.

India complete 3-0 rout courtesy of another Shreyas Iyer brilliance
No.3 batter Shreyas Iyer continued his merry ways having been promoted to the position. After scores of 57* and 74* in the first two T20Is, he backed it up with another 73-run unbeaten knock in the third and final game.
Chasing 147 for the whitewash on a good batting surface, India began poorly. They lost Rohit Sharma early to Dushmantha Chameera. Sanju Samson and Iyer got the scoreboard ticking before the former fell.
Iyer then continued his rampage and reached his fifty in the company of Deepak Hooda. Although Hooda fell soon after for 21, Iyer then finished the match in the company of Ravindra Jadeja. The win is India’s 12th consecutive win in T20Is.
