Shreyas Iyer scored back to back fifties as he kept Inda in the game in the second T20I chasing 184 to win. He brought up his fifty in 30 balls in this game as he played some attacking shots in the process. If India manages to win this game they will win their 11th T20I on the trot and complete another series win at home.

Shreyas Iyer potentially continued in Dharmasala from the point he left off in Lucknow. He walked out to bat at number three with India losing Rohit Sharma early in the chase. He was dismissed by Dushmantha Chameera which brought Iyer to the wicket. He did not waste the opportunity and scored yet another compelling fifty.

During the course of his innings, he coped up an injury in the 10th over of the Indian innings. He was hit on the box from a delivery from Dssun Shanaka. The ball had a bit more pace than normal and it hit him flush on the box. Shreyas ran across for a quick single and then took a moment to catch his breath.
