Shikhar Dhawan

In eight of his last nine ODIs, Dhawan has had significant difficulties. The left-hander also used an antiquated style of batting, which is hurting the club during Powerplay innings. With him still dealing with his injury, he might have to stay out of the squad for the Sri Lanka series as well.

Mohammed Shami

Mohammed Shami, a fast bowler, had a shoulder injury during practice prior to the ODI series against Bangladesh. At the NCA, he is now being watched upon by the BCCI Medical Team. Shahbaz Ahmed

Shahbaz Ahmed, an all-rounder, became well-known while representing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. He replaced injured Ravindra Jadeja in the recently concluded ODI series against Bangladesh.

He was able to get a game under his name as Axar Patel was also out of the first ODI. Shahbaz was dismissed by Shakib al Hasan for a duck while he could not get any breakthrough during his 9-over spell, giving away 39 runs in the process.
