IND vs SL: India Squad for Sri Lanka T20s Announced, Hardik Pandya To Lead The Side. The BCCI, on Tuesday, announced India’s T20I and ODI Squad for the upcoming Sri Lanka series. Notably, the Indian Cricket Team is slated to play Sri Lanka in a three-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series which is all set to begin on January 03, 2023.

Hardik Pandya has been named the captain of the T20 side that will be competing in the 3-match series against Sri Lanka. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma will take time to heal his injured finger and will be available from the ODI series which will commence on January 10, 2023.

Notably, the new selection committee was supposed to select the squads for the Sri Lanka series. However, due to the delay in the application process for the new selection committee, the Chetan Sharma-led selection committee has picked the squads for both the ODI and T20I series between India and Sri Lanka.

Team India’s Performance Under Scrutiny

As per reports, the BCCI is not completely happy with how the Indian Cricket Team has performed in the last year with Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid taking charge. The Men in Blue were eliminated from Asia Cup 2022, and ICC T20 World Cup 2022, and recently lost an ODI series against Bangladesh.
