Kishan recently grabbed the limelight after scoring a double-century in ODI against Bangladesh. Now, he will be all set to showcase his batting dominance against Sri Lanka too.

The reports for Prithvi Shaw making a comeback in the India team in the IND vs SL T20I series are doing rounds. In the absence of KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma, it will be a good opportunity for Shaw to showcase his strength as an opener. Shaw has only played 1 T20I game for India which was last year in July.

Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer might be the one-down batsman for the team in the IND vs SL T20I series. Virat Kohli is going to be rested according to reports and hence, Iyer will be the best man at the no.3 slot. Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav will be a middle-order batter for the team in the T20I series against Sri Lanka. Yadav was impressive with the bat in 2022. Yadav played 31 T20Is in 2022 and slammed 1164 runs at an average of 46.56 and a brilliant strike rate of 187+. He also slammed 2 centuries and 9 half-centuries in the shortest format.
