Surya produced again another stunning knock in the shortest format, a 51-ball 112 not out, as India defeated Sri Lanka by 91 runs in the third T20I here on Saturday to record a thrilling 2-1 series win.

In a T20I match against Sri Lanka, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma set a new record with a 35-ball century. This batting prodigy has now tied for the second-highest T20I century total.

Suryakumar received the Man of the Match award for his match-winning century.

The two teams’ three-match One-Day International series will begin on January 10.
