“Virat Kohli has scored 73 international tons so far”: Kamran Akmal

Former Pakistani player Kamran Akmal praised Virat Kohli for his 73 international centuries after the first ODI, adding that current cricketers can’t even conceive of amassing 45 tons across all forms.

In a video posted on YouTube, he stated, “Players nowadays can’t imagine hitting 45 hundred across formats, but Virat Kohli has done so in a single format. So far, he has 73 international tons. He was given opportunities, but he made the most of them.”

“He had a century here two or three years ago, and now he has found his form with another hundred. He played in both the World Cup and the Asia Cup. The runs haven’t stopped, demonstrating how crucial a player he is for India,” Kamran Akmal added.

An unbeaten half-century by KL Rahul helped India to defeat Sri Lanka by four wickets in the second ODI.
