Sri Lankan Cricket Team was asked to bowl first by India in the 3rd ODI. The Lankan bowlers were thrashed in the power-play overs as the Men in Blue scored 75 runs for the loss of no wickets. Shubman Gill was looking in great touch when he scored his 2nd ODI ton and played a knock of 116 runs in 97 balls where he struck 14 fours and 2 sixes.
Virat Kohli looked like a man on a mission from ball 1 as he was quite keen on rotating strike. The right-handed batter along with Shubman Gill formed a huge partnership of 131 runs. The visitors were clueless against the stroke play where both were smashing an odd boundary.

Great Knock by Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli now has struck his 46th ODI ton and is looking unstoppable. The way he made a comeback after the 2nd ODI is quite commendable. It won’t be wrong to say that Virat has already won the game for India as chasing a mammoth target won’t be easy.
Sri Lanka will have to pull a rabbit out of the hat where at least 2 batters need to score big runs if the team wants to win the match. The skipper Dasun Shanaka must promote himself up the order as he is someone who could promote stability as well as can accelerate in the middle overs.
