Australia have already won the Ashes 2021-22 series after crushing their opposition against England in the first three opening games. Moreover, the hosts Aussies have also got a joyful start to their journey in ICC World Test Championship 2021-22. Winning the first three Tests, Australia have moved to the top spot in WTC 2021-23 points table with a PCT of 100.

All the three victories of Australia have been a one-sided one, with the home side thoroughly dominating England in all the games so far. In AUS vs ENG 1st Test, Australia bagged victory by 9 wickets after chasing down a mere 20-run target in the 4th innings.

In the 2nd Test Aussies won by a massive margin of 275 runs, bowling out England for 192 in the final innings against a gigantic 468-run target. The 3rd Test too had a similar script, with hosts winning by an innings and 14 runs, after crushing visitors to humiliating 68 all-out in the 3rd innings.

Talking about England, the team is suffering from batting collapses against a strong pace attack by opposition, led by bowlers like Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Ollie Robinson. Spinner Nathan Lyon has also given a big blow to Joe Root and boys with his spin attack, clinching 12 wickets in 3 Tests so far.

Joe Root is the leading run-scorer in the series so far with his 253 runs at an average of 42.17, which includes 3 fifties. Dawid Malan is another impressive batsman on the English side, hitting 202 runs at 33.67 with 2 fifties. However, the rest English batsmen have largely failed to get runs on the board.

Now, England need to save themselves from a miserable whitewash, which is highly expected by many fans and experts. England need to level up in the next two games and execute their best efforts to attack Australia, something which might earn them some respect in Ashes 2021-22.
