It is one of the rarest achievements for a player to score a century with the bat and also pick up wickets in the same ODI game and only a few players have made it possible. It is not a surprise when a captain turns up to the centurion from his team to roll his arm over with the luck on his side.

The batsmen would have oozed with confidence already and he will be looking to take it to the next level with some good performances in the bowling department too. It can happen in vice versa too and here are 5 players with a century and a four-wicket haul in the same ODI game.

The former Sri Lankan cricketer Tillakaratne Dilshan was often known for his aggressive batting at the top of the order but he was a useful option with the ball as well. In the 2011 Worldcup in the group stages against Zimbabwe, Dilshan scored a marvellous century while opening the innings.

He scored 144 off just 131 balls with 16 fours and one six and he was given the ball in the second innings as the sixth bowling option. The off-spinner picked up four wickets in the three overs he bowled with one maiden and gave away just four runs. It was a stunning performance from him and was rightly awarded the man of the match award.
