Best XI Of Players Who Could Not Win An IPL Trophy:
Chris Gayle:

Chris Gayle is portrayed as one of the legends of the IPL and it is very unfortunate for him to not be on the champion side. He played for the KKR side in the first three seasons of IPL but wasn’t able to win an IPL trophy in those years. He switched to RCB for the next six years and the franchise is yet to win a title. His latest franchise has been the Punjab Kings which is another team that has struggled to win an IPL trophy.
Virender Sehwag:
Ajinkya Rahane:

Ajinkya Rahane might have not found a place in the playing XI in the UAE phase of IPL 2021, but his numbers have been excellent in the tournament over the years. He started his IPL career with the Mumbai Indians in the 2008 and 2009 editions, then switched over to the Rajasthan Royals until 2019. He also played for the RPS side and Delhi Capitals who never won an IPL title.
Virat Kohli:

Virat Kohli might be one of the unluckiest IPL players as he has some staggering IPL numbers without an IPL trophy. Kohli is the only player to have part of the same franchise since the first edition in 2008. He has been captaining the side from the 2012 season and is yet to win an IPL title despite reaching the finals in 2009,2011 and 2016.
AB De Villiers:

AB De Villiers was still among the best batters of the tournament history until he announced his retirement from all forms of cricket recently. De Villiers played for the Delhi from the inaugural edition to the 2010 season and has been with the RCB side until this year. Both of his teams haven’t won an IPL trophy yet.
Irfan Pathan:

Irfan Pathan will be the all-rounder in the side and he can certainly bat at six. He played for the Delhi Daredevils side in the first three seasons and switched over to the Kings XI Punjab for the next three seasons. He played for the Surnisers Hyderabad in the 2014 season when KKR won the tournament and played for CSK in 2015 when Mumbai won the tournament. He also played for RPS and Gujarat who never won an IPL trophy.
Chris Morris:
Amit Mishra:
Zaheer Khan:
Dale Steyn:

Dale Steyn had a fantastic IPL career for various teams but couldn’t win an IPL trophy. Steyn started with the RCB side in the first three seasons and then moved to Deccan Chargers for the next 2 years. He switches to the SRH side for the next 3 years and played for the now-defunct sid Gujarat in the 2016 season when SRH won the title. He was unlucky to be not part of a winning IPL squad.
Anil Kumble:

Anil Kumble did have an impact in the IPL for the Royal Challengers Bangalore side in the first three years and he went on to pick up a five-wicket giving away just 5 runs as well. The leg spinner captained the franchise on occasions and came close to winning an IPL trophy in 2009 by reaching the finals.
