Wasim Akram- 502 Wickets in 356 Matches
Waqar Younis- 416 Wickets From 262 Matches
Waqar Younis along with Wasim Akram formed one of the deadliest bowling combinations throughout their career. Together they picked up 918 ODI wickets with 616 of them to Younis alone. He ended his career with 13 fifers, the most among the top 10 bowlers.
Chaminda Vaas- 400 Wickets In 322 Matches
Sri Lankan left-arm seamer Chaminda Vaas is the fourth bowler in this elite list of bowlers with the most ODI wickets. He is the second Lankan bowler in this list. He ended his career with 400 wickets including four fifers.
Shahid Afridi- 395 Wickets In 398 Matches
Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi finished just five short of 400 ODI wickets. Afridi was one of those maverick cricketers from Pakistan who kept the focus of world cricket on him. He bounced back from his retirement a couple of times before retiring from the game finally after the 2016 World Cup. He recently opted out of the just-concluded PSL season.
Shaun Pollock- 393 Wickets In 303 Matches
Shaun Pollock is the only South African bowler to feature in this elite list. He ended his career with 393 wickets including five fifers. He retired from the game in 2008 and since then has taken up commentary.
Glenn McGrath- 381 Wickets In 250 Matches
McGrath is one of the two Australian bowlers to feature in this elite list. He ended his career with 381 wickets and bowled against the best of batsmen in his career. Among the batsmen he dismissed most times in his ODI career are Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara.
Brett Lee- 380 Wickets In 221 Matches
Lasith Malinga- 338 Wickets In 226 Matches
Malinga is the third bowler in this list. He is among the recent ones to have retired from the game after playing it at the highest level for 12 years. His unusual action remained the talking point of his international career. However, despite that, he managed to take a bagful of wickets. He ended his career with 338 wickets including eight fifers.
Anil Kumble-337 Wickets In 271 Matches
Kumble is the only Indian bowler to feature in this list. He still remains India???s highest wicket-taker in Test and ODI cricket. He took 619 Test wickets and 337 ODI wickets including two fifers.
