3. Ravi Bishnoi

Ravi Bishnoi is the first player on this list. Although Ravi Bishnoi is an emerging spin bowler for India, he does not have any experience in international games. He gave a good show in IPL 2021, picking 12 wickets in 9 games for Punjab Kings.

However, the right-arm spinner still has very little experience in IPL with 23 games so far. Someone like Kuldeep Yadav, Rahul Chahar, or Varun Chakravarthy could have been roped in as a spinner in the IND vs WI T20I series ahead of Bishnoi.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is another player on this list. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has faced poor form for a long time. The right-arm pacer performed poorly during IPL 2021 and ICC T20 World Cup 2021. He also failed to get any wicket during the first two games of the IND vs SA ODI series.

1. Venkatesh Iyer

Venkatesh Iyer is another player on this list. The right-handed batsman has been picked as an all-rounder in the IND vs WI T20I series. Iyer did not impress with his performance during the IND vs SA ODI series, where he failed to come up with a big knock in all three games.

Hence, he should be given rest for some time. Washington Sundar and Axar Patel were enough as all-rounders in the absence of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja. Due to Iyer’s selection, Axar Patel and Washington Sundar might have to warm the bench.
