IND vs WI: 'Kieron Pollard Missing'- Dwayne Bravo Fires Shots At The West Indies Captain

Windies ODI skipper Kieron Pollard was trolled by his former teammate Dwayne Bravo after his side lost the ODI series to India. India won the first two games of the three-match series and are leading the series 2-0. Pollard was dismissed for a first-ball duck in the first ODI while an injury ruled him out from the second ODI.

Taking to Instagram, Dwayne Bravo wrote a post taking a dig at Kieron Pollard for getting dismissed for a duck. The right-hander is a good player against spinners and he hits some mighty sixes. However, in the first ODI, he was done by a googly from Chahal, the Indian leggie.

“This is really a Sad ? day @kieron.pollard55 my best friend is missing guys pls if u have any info pls inbox me or report to the police” wrote Bravo on Instagram. His post was an indication of the fact that the West Indies skipper is not in form with the bat in the series.

Kieron Pollard on his part understood the lighter side of things and replied by saying “????? gotta love them” to Bravo’s post. However, the bigger cause of concern for the visitors is that their top-order has not scored the runs expected of them. Shai Hope and Nicholas Pooran, two of the best batters in the top-order have been woefully short of runs. Jason Holder scored 57 in the first game but his knock was not enough to help them post a big total.

In the second ODI, despite the good show of their bowlers, the Windies batsmen failed to chase the target of 238. They fell short by 44 runs in the end with the likes of Hope, Pooran and Holder again dismissed cheaply. Odean Smith gave India a scare by scoring a quickfire 24 but he too was dismissed ending all hopes of a West Indies win.

Both sides play the third and the final ODI in Ahmedabad on February 11 and then travel to Kolkata for the three-match T20I series from February 16-20.
