Indian cricketers and their comments are very animated as they take dig at their fellow teammates while fielding on the ground.

In the last few years, the stump-mic technology has brought the players comments to the fans and experts in the public domain and every remark has its own shares of reaction accordingly.

There was something similar during the third ODI between India and West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

As India was on the mission to defend their modest score of 265 in the first innings, the bowlers were giving their best to keep West Indies batters at bay.

When Indian off-spinner Washington Sundar was about to bowl one of his balls, Rishabh Pant, behind the stumps, cheered him to pick one wicket.

There was a suggestion for change in the field placement, to which Virat Kohli, who was standing in second slip region next to skipper Rohit Sharma, passed a hilarious comment that included a popular slang word of the Hindi language. Virat Kohli said: Chal naa B******, baar baar catch karwayenga.

India whitewash West Indies 3-0 in ODI series

Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj chipped in with three wickets each as West Indies were bundled up on 169. Kuldeep Yadav, who returned to the Indian side, picked the crucial wickets of West Indies stand-in skipper Nicholas Pooran and all-rounder Fabian Allen.

Deepak Chahar got the early wickets of Brandon King and Shamarh Brooks early in the innings as West Indies were reduced to 25 for three inside five overs.

Earlier in the match, India had a simolar start to their innings after skipper Rohit and Kohli departed to Alzarri Joseph in one over. Kohli’s batting failure once again haunted him as he was sent back for a second-ball duck.

Shreyas Iyer (80) and Pant (56) joined forces to build a 110-run stand for the fourth wicket as India managed to post a decent score in the first innings.
