During the post-match presentation, Prasidh Krishna said that he likes the ball going to the keeper or the slips and that’s the kind of wickets he enjoys. He said:

“Now that I’ve been practising and played a few Vijay Hazare matches I have a few overs in me and am in rhythm. Anything going to the keeper or the slips, I like that kind of wickets. Today both wickets I got, it was quite nice to see the ball got the carry and good to have people behind who won’t miss out when you create an opportunity.”

Prasidh Krishna said that running in and seeing the ball flying to the wicket-keeper is the thing that every pacer wants. He added that he has been learning from everyone in the team and he is “still being grounded”. He also said that the Indian team batted very well in all three ODI games against West Indies. Prasidh Krishna said:

When you are running in and see the ball flying to the keeper, it’s what any fast bowler wants. The kind of guys we have in the team, everybody is good and we’ve been learning from each other. Anybody who turns up can do very well – that’s the team effort. Still being grounded that way, it’s a team effort. If we look at the three games, we batted quite well even though the wicket had something.”

In the second ODI, India lost the toss and were invited to bat first. Top-order of the Indian team failed but the middle-order performed really well and India posted a good total. Defending the target all the pacers and spinners did a great job and helped India win by 44 runs.

Also, India dominated in the third and final One Day International match and with the help of an all-round performance won the match by 96 runs and the series by 3-0.
