Rohit Sharma lifts Asia Cup 2018:
Meanwhile, a few months ago, Rohit Sharma led India to the success in Nidahas Trophy in a triangular series. The respective board once again relied their trust on Rohit Sharma in Asia Cup 2018 and he delivered the goods.

Not only with captaincy but also Rohit Sharma has been brilliant with his willow as well. Most of the times, he anchored the innings pretty well and dealt the pressure against Pakistan as well. Therefore, Rohit Sharma was able to lead the side with aplomb.
Sharma appreciates the whole team.
Speaking of the tournament, Rohit Sharma appreciated the effort put in by his boys throughout the tournament. He furtherly thanked all the fans for their support and quoted that it is a proud moment for him to lift the coveted trophy.
”We played some good cricket throughout the tournament and this is the reward of all the hard work throughout the tournament. I have been part of games like this before and credit to the guys in the middle to handle the pressure and to cross the finishing line was a fantastic effort. You have to give some credit to Bangladesh. They put us under pressure in the first 10 overs,” Rohit Sharma said in the post match presentation.

Proud of the boys.
”We thought if the ball got older, the spinners would do the work for us. It was important to keep it tight and we have done that well throughout the tournament. If you have a team like that, the captain will always look good. It wouldn’t be easy if we didn’t have the support of the remaining 10 players, so I am really proud of the boys,” he added.

WoW Factor
Rohit Sharma’s captaincy is so underrated.

Kohli is in a class of his own when it comes to batting.
?
Rohit is a far superior leader.

This match was memorable. For the captaincy of Mortaza and the swift decision to retire hurt Jadhav despite his willingness to play on with injury as singles mattered the most then. Great Captaincy @ImRo45
