Afghanistan defeated Sri Lanka in their opening game and then defeated Bangladesh in their second match. Then, the tournament witnessed two knockout games. The winners of the Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka and Pakistan vs Hong Kong games qualified for the super four round. The losing team has been eliminated from the tournament.
