Arshdeep Singh has been targeted by the fans for his dropped catch in India vs Pakistan octane clash. The left-arm pacer had dropped Asif Ali in the 18th over which proved to be quite costly as he took Pakistan closer to the target. In India, Cricket is more than a religion where there are no excuses for any poor performances.
Sunil Gavaskar, the Legendary Batter came into the support of Arshdeep Singh. Arshdeep Singh is quite new to International Arena and such sort of experiences will only make him stronger than ever. Arshdeep will have a chance on Tuesday (06th September) against Sri Lanka to prove everyone wrong. We should not forget that he almost defended 7 runs in the last over where the pitch was a run fest.

Sunil Gavaskar on Trolls
Sunil Gavaskar was quite fumed up after seeing the unnecessary attention towards Arshdeep Singh. “No former cricketer has criticised Arshdeep” Gavaskar said on Sports Tak

“Who are these people who are critical of Arshdeep? Why do we need to give credence to them? How many of them can catch the ball that flies into the stands. Rarely anyone. So how does their comments matter,” he added.
Questionable Selection from the Management
Indian Cricket Team took some bold decisions in the Pakistan clash. The Management dropped Dinesh Karthik and included the inexperienced Deepak Hooda who couldn’t make an impact. Karthik would be clueless as to what grounds, he wasn’t included in the side as he hardly got a chance to showcase his credentials in the first round of the Pakistan encounters.

It looked as if Skipper Rohit Sharma & Head Coach Rahul Dravid were in a mood to experiment. There were wholesale changes to the team which is not a good side when you are unbeaten and a force to reckon with in the tourney. Due to such calls, the match against Sri Lanka has become a do-or-die contest. The team will have to be at its absolute best as Sri Lanka has been spot on.
